Returns for Repairs
All returns for repair must be shipped pre-paid to LAN Basics’ warehouse repair center. Products still under the original warranty will either be repaired or replaced, at LAN Basics’ discretion. Estimated repair costs for out of warranty products will be provided to the customer within 5 business days. All approved repair work will be performed within 7 business days, and LAN Basics will pay ground freight return charges. A Return Material Authorization (RMA) number (see below) must accompany all returns.
Credits
Customers have up to 14 days after the date of purchase to request a credit for any undamaged items in new condition. Returns for credit must be received within 30 days from the date the RMA is issued. All returns for credit are subject to a 15% restocking fee. A Return Material Authorization (RMA) number (see below) must accompany all returns.
RMA Number
LAN Basics’ warehouse will not accept unidentified packages. An RMA number must be prominently displayed on the exterior of all packaging and also written on the documentation accompanying the return. An RMA number can be obtained by contacting LAN Basics’ customer support at number
949-600-8989. When calling, please be prepared to provide the following information:
- Contact Information: Name, address, phone number, email if applicable
- Product Name
- Order Number
- Reason for return: Repair or Credit
All requests from purchaser to return products shall be accompanied by the original, dated proof of purchase, written description of the defect, and the RMA number. Purchaser shall pay freight and any applicable United States importation processing charges, and be responsible (insured) against any damage or loss during return shipment of the product.
